The journey of Delta Medical College began in 2006 by virtue of the initiative taken by Professor Dr. Syed Mukarram Ali, an internationally renowned histopathologist,who started the mission of developing an ideal institution and a centre of excellence. He had our Trustee members as a strong support system by his side. The Governing Body of the college is comprised of representatives from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Dhaka University and a Trustee Board.
