Sundarban Reserved Forest is the largest single chunk of tidal halophytic mangrove forest in the world seeks attraction of the tourist across the world. Among many places and components of tourist attraction in Sundarbans, Karamjal wildlife breeding centre is gaining growing attention from the tourist. Karamjal Wildlife Breeding Centre is the main gateway to Sundarbans which can represent the whole Sundarbans ecosystem to some extent with its wooden trail, wildlife and scenic view of mangrove. Karamjal is one of the most visited tourists' hotspots with over 100 thousand tourists every year and this number is increasing at a significant rate. This study investigates the present situation, problems and prospects of tourism at Karamjal and also the perspective of the tourists for delivering better management facilities at Karamjal. A total of 62 respondents were randomly selected and interviewed using a semi-structured questionnaire during January 2018 both on weekends and on weekdays. Most respondents preferred Deer (32.14%) and Crocodile (19.64%) as main attractions. Among the key identified issues, damaged wooden walk trail, lack of quality food and safe drinking water, lack of skilled guide facilities, wildlife, poor accessibility etc. found to be most crucial from our study. Most of the tourists (61.29%) get disappointed from what they expect and what they get. If Karamjal wants to hold its pride as one of the best ecotourism places in our country, mentioned problems need to be mitigated.
